Anyway, why not get your children to design a superhero that could save the World?  Perhaps with special recycling powers or with super strength to carry piles of food or resources to the communities that need it?

You could get them to  research heroes from their favourite comics before drawing their own or, better still, use the ‘Create your own Superhero’ online activity from the Marvel Comics website.

For extra fun, get the children to come up with a ‘catchphrase’ for their hero…’To sustainability and beyond!’

The Geograph British Isles project aims to collect a geographically representative photograph for every square kilometre of the British Isles and you can be part of it.

Upload your own photos, look at others of your local area (and further afield) for comparison studies and don’t forget to check out the activities page for games involving some of the photos uploaded.
